Collaborating Partner: Family Lives and the Environment

Renu Singh is the Collaborating Partner of Family Lives and the Environment project. Renu joined Young Lives in April 2010. As Country Director for India, she provides strategic leadership by working collaboratively with colleagues in CESS, SPMVV and Save the Children. The role offers exciting opportunities to influence policy and lives of children in India, through analysis of the longitudinal dataset.

With over 20 years of teaching experience in general and in special education in India and abroad, Renu has worked as Director at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Delhi and was Director of a USAID research project on 'whole school development'. She has had the privilege of working as Governing Body member of the Central Board of Secondary Education and on various expert committees of the Rehabilitation Council of India, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Ministry of Women and Child Development and Indira Gandhi Open University.
