Core Researcher of Family Lives and the Environment

Natasha Shukla is the Core Researcher of Family Lives and the Environment project. She is a qualitative researcher in sociology with particular interest in the intersections between everyday life and political action in the context of globalisation. Her PhD (funded by ESRC) has explored connections between grassroots movements, citizenship and informal learning in India using an ethnographic approach. She is currently focusing attention on cross-cultural dialogue on environmental issues between young people in the Global North and South.
